Senior Biomedical Signal Processing Engineer

Gurugram, Haryana
Work Type: Full Time

Company Overview

Pareto Care is a medical device company developing a wearable biosensor platform that measures hemodynamic parameters important to the management of many clinical conditions including heart failure. Our products are reliable, affordable and designed with a core focus on user experience. Our team is driven to develop products that will change the way patients and clinicians manage health outcomes. We are dedicated to the personal and professional growth of all our team members and strive to create a positive and creative work environment.

The Senior Signal Processing Engineer will work closely with a team of cross-functional engineers to develop novel algorithms to measure hemodynamic parameters and validate them in clinical environments.  You are a seasoned and collaborative developer with knowledge of classical as well as the most advanced signal processing approaches to process and interpret time-domain physiological signals. You are self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team to drive success. Pareto’s fast-paced environment offers ample opportunities for growth in several areas: improved technology skills, effective leadership, dedicated mentorship, creative design, strong communication skills, teamwork, and more.

What you will be responsible for

  • Design and implement signal processing algorithms to extract biomarkers like Blood Pressure and Respiratory Rate from Pareto’s novel sensors and signals

  • Develop cross-platform signal processing pipelines and systems for resource constrained devices

  • Validate Pareto’s algorithms to demonstrate product accuracy within diverse subject/patient populations

  • Creating classifiers / machine learning models based on aggregated data

  • Test and validate your works based on open-source databases, in-house databases and regulatory standards

  • Develop technical documentation and transition algorithms to product development for successful final product algorithm integration

  • Doing ad-hoc analysis and data manipulation for small scale datasets

  • Identify, examine, and interpret anomaly observed in the data pipeline

  • Remain current in physiologic signal processing and monitoring trends as well as technologies through activities such as self-study, webinars, seminars, and conferences

  • Follow standard operating procedures and software engineering best practices including documentation of algorithm software designs and source code

  • Mentor team members; provide expert level knowledge to the team on signal processing concepts

  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive team environment that creates high quality solutions

Education, Experience and Key Skills
