The Biomedical Engineer will join our Research & Development Team. You will play a crucial role in the design and execution of experiments, large-scale data collection, and clinical validation studies with hospitals and research institutions around the country.

Creating a design of experiments based on dynamically changing variables
Conducting data acquisition/collection studies with proprietary data acquisition systems
Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of the acquired data from various experiments and communicating conclusions with the engineering team
Creating detailed experimental technical documentation
Designing experimental protocols to assist the algorithm engineering team in developing algorithms
Conducting complex dry lab experiments to build and validate algorithms
Managing and participating in internal data acquisition studies conducted at various sites across the country
Working with Ethical Review Boards to receive ethical clearances for data acquisition studies
Leading and managing large data collection/ validation studies with our partners around the country (should be willing to travel if required)
Performing basic wet-lab experiments, sensor encapsulations, and 3D printing activities
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
2+ years of experience using MATLAB for data analysis
2+ years of experience using Python for data analysis and algorithm engineering
Must have a good understanding in designing and conducting dry-lab experiments
Knowledge of creating a design of experiments in a variety of factorials
Ability to work with a cross-functional team
Ability to solve complex multidisciplinary problems
Ability to foresee challenges and come up with potential solutions
Ability to communicate complex scientific research in simple terms
